Our story
We're Alice Stone and Eli Stoloff, the mother-son duo behind Soft Landing. We founded Soft Landing to solve a growing problem: Eli was hearing stories of college students showing up at the campus health center after overconsuming THC, but being told there was simply nothing that could help them. At the same time, Alice had friends who were becoming empty nesters and wanted to enjoy the cannabis they fondly remembered from their youth. But today's strains are much stronger than they used to be, and many had bad experiences.
We knew there had to be a better way for people to enjoy cannabis. We set out on an 18-month journey to research solutions. Digging deep into peer-reviewed journals, we found our active ingredient, and with the help of scientific consultant Dr. Oren Levy, we validated its effectiveness. From there, we enlisted a cannabis nurse, Jessilyn Dolan, to conduct a pilot study of our product. The results spoke for themselves: 80% of users found Soft Landing effective or very effective in reducing their highs.

Meet our scientific consultants
Oren Levy, PhD, MBA
Oren Levy is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, studying inflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Levy also spent three years as Vice President of R&D at Parallel, one of the largest cannabinoid therapeutics companies in the US. In this role, he led a research team focused on pre-clinical and clinical development of cannabinoid therapeutics for pain management and opioid use disorders. His research has yielded 5 patents, 27 invited lectures, 2 book chapters and 37 published manuscripts with over 4,000 citations in peer-reviewed journals.
Jessilyn Dolan, RN
Jessilyn Dolan is a registered nurse who specializes in helping patients through cannabis. She is the founder of the Vermont Cannabis Nurses Association and the wellness director at the Higher Standards education and consulting group. Previously, Jessilyn served as a Director for the American Cannabis Nurses Association and President of the Vermont chapter of the American Nurses Association. Jessilyn was instrumental in running Soft Landing's initial pilot study testing the effectiveness of our product with cannabis users.
